What is Pyanz?
Pyanz lets café guests choose the music. They request songs from their phones, and the songs play through the café’s sound system.
What does my café need?
A Windows or Mac computer with the Pyanz player installed and connected to your sound system. Apps for Android tablets and iPadOS are planned next.
Do guests need an app to request songs?
No. Scan the QR code at your table or ask the staff for the café’s link. It opens in your phone’s browser, with no account needed.
Which songs can guests request?
Search for a song on YouTube or paste its link. If a track is unavailable, choose another one.
Does it cost anything to request a song?
Each café decides. Requests can be free, or the café can charge per song. For paid requests, guests see the price before paying through QPay.
What plays when there are no requests?
The café’s own playlist plays in the background. If the owner hasn’t chosen one, Pyanz uses its default playlist.
How do I set up Pyanz in my café?
Register your café and install the Pyanz player on your computer. Connect it using a pairing code from the café console, then put out your QR code for guests. Keep the computer connected to the internet.
